A message for the New Year

Kundalini is a Sanskrit word meaning “coil” and is ofter depicted as a coiled serpent at the base of the spine. Kundalini energy lies dormant in the perineum, forming a 3 and 1⁄2 circles coil. It is the goal of many yoga traditions to awaken the Kundalini. These yoga traditions believe that the Kundalini is the power that is required to attain the ultimate goal of spiritual achievement, the union (or “yoga”) with the divine.

Myths about recessions

I read an article recently in which it was stated that "Recession is a fear-based reality."

In today's complex world of finance, this does not hold true. The author of that statement is basically referring to what know in Economics as The Paradox of Thrift, in which the populace migrates towards the mentality of the "saver," no longer spending money on useless things. In a society dependent on consumerism for growth and stability this could indeed create a recession. But what we have today is far more serious and far more sinister.
