Great insight and awareness on an important aspect of the public's quest for spiritual guidance, dear Sevara!

"Spiritual salesmen" are abundant in the market place and this very point that you make is something I have recently thought about and questioned too ~ For example, over the years I have observed how so many people will follow and take the word of the popular celebrity, Oprah, as gold ~ Whenever Oprah endorses an author's book ...it appears that book will be a guaranteed best seller ~ I do not watch her show but have heard about her endorsements through other blogs and conversations ~

It seems recently, she has promoted the works of several spiritual authors and the public instantly embraced their words as profound ...but to me I found so much of the content of Oprah's spiritual guides as merely borrowed ideas from various other spiritual sources ~ Sometimes I think if Oprah told people to go jump off a cliff - they would do so .. I see the dangers in a passive public that is willing to follow these "spiritual salesmen" without question ~

I feel the spiritual path should not be based on a commercial selling media ~ Thank you so much, Sevara, for this important topic of awareness ~ I feel the general public needs to think about where do they get their ideas, values, the very basis of our consciousness ~ I know these are all points you have presented in your writings before, dearest Sevara, and I am grateful for your insight and spiritual wisdom ~ Eternal continued blessings ~
